Maurice W. Commons

My name is Maurice W. Commons, and I am honored to announce my candidacy for a seat on the Village of North Randall Council. I bring with me over two decades of leadership experience, a heart for service, and a clear vision for the future growth of our great city.

I am 56 years old and have been part of this community for many years. First, my mother moved to Warrensville in 1980, where I spent my formative years and attended Warrensville Heights City Schools from fourth through twelfth grade. In 2018, I moved to the Village of North Randall, which I now call home.

I was sworn in and appointed to the Planning Commission on August 11, 2021, and have had the honor of serving this community in an official capacity. I have started and successfully operated my own business since 2000. As a visionary, I'm driven by compassion and a genuine concern for people. I find purpose in serving others and believe deeply in contributing to the community in every way I can.

My decision to run for Council is rooted in my desire to build upon the positive momentum and great work started by the current administration. I believe that integrity, honesty, accountability, and a sincere passion for service are the cornerstones of effective leadership. These are the values I will bring to the table every day as your councilman.
